I was fascinated by this hummingbird. For the last 3 years, she has built a nest on the fence around the pickelball court. When you think about it, she would have been safe from an any animal climbing up to her nest and being in the corner of the fence, it would prevent any larger bird from being able to reach her eggs. The players rarely seemed to bother her, as we chased that pickelball around the court. When I washed the courts to keep the dust down, she would fly down and drink in the puddles. Some of the shots I took, show the speed and motion of the wings. According to urban ledged and some engineers, a bumble bee and a hummingbird should not be able to fly. Hmmmm :-0 Enjoy!
